GENERAL STORE

Take a step back in time ~ in our General Store!

Our General Store was "put together" in 2005... but its parts and pieces date back to the early 1900's.  Different areas inside of the store were constructed out of old barn wood, doors, windows and hardware that Marissa salvaged from various barns and remodeling projects in and around the Estacada area.  You can find Michael's front porch, Kathy's old chicken barn, Cliff's old door, Jane's great windows and that great, old, red, barn wood from that nice couple who were selling off their life's collection of antiques and farming memorabilia (13 children she gave birth to!  Wow!)

Not only is it a darn cool place, it's also stocked full of unique fall and farm merchandise!  Pick up some winter squash, decorative gourds, corn stalks or fresh cut sunflowers.  Don't forget the cookies and old fashioned candies.  Everything from antiques for the adults, to books and toys for the kids!

Marissa's Caramel Apples

are quickly becoming

a farm favorite!

Made fresh each morning,

they are a mouthful of

sweet, crisp and yummy!

Sit a spell in "the big chair" and enjoy some fresh coffee, cocoa or cider... compliments of Twisted Creek Ranch!  The General Store is a great place to warm up on a cold autumn day, take a break from pumpkin hunting, or just chit-chat with the neighbor folk.

How about taking home some of "Cody's Farm Fresh Eggs".  Cody is eight years old now, and a veteran chicken farmer.  He collects the eggs and he, and Mama, clean and package them.   Cody sells his eggs for $2 a dozen.  He used some of his egg money from his first year in business, to buy himself a couple of sheep!  He plans on using the sheep for Mutton-Bustin'.  Cody says he is going to be a bull rider when he "grows up big", and Mutton-Bustin' is good practice!  (UPDATE:  Cody has changed "career paths"... now he is going to be a calf roper!)

In 2007, Cody expanded his business to include incubating and hatching chicks.  During the spring months, he helped bring over 200 chicks into the world!

There is always free cocoa, cider and coffee waiting for you at the General Store!
